- A service focused on delivering eye care in the community to reduce demand on local Hospital Eye Services;
- Waiting times for treatment of just 4 weeks.
Operose Health have been at the forefront of Consultant Led Community Ophthalmology Services since 2006. We now provide services to a number of CCG’s across the country. It is our aim to make life as simple as possible for referrers. We offer a well-rounded service, with a team of specialist triagers, a referrer helpline, a Referral Management Centre (RMC) and the facility to receive advice from an ophthalmologist on the same day. We can treat a wide range of conditions and once received, every referral is clinically triaged by an ophthalmologist and signposted to the most appropriate service for the needs of the patient.
